Broken boats

I’ve been reading familiar Scriptures yet seized with new insights.  I’ve been researching resilience in folks who despite setbacks and hardships persisted. Productive and positive.  In Acts 27, the dashed pieces of the ship Paul was sailing on provided the planks for non swimmers to float safely to shore.

What encouragement for those of us in the middle of devastating loss.  Pieces of this wreck will be our strength in the future.

Alone now, I’v found this true. I have time to bless widows in developing countries with income producing skills.  Time and travel freedoms are planks I float into new missions.  The result of a loss I did not choose.

What about you, my friend?  I’m sorry for your loss.  The result may unseen opportunities new perspectives.

God specializes in using unexpected events to bring us to good places.
