How do you build a God honoring, impactful team. You are the leader. How do you do that? One leader, now in Heaven shared 7 principles. The second was this. ‘Do your best to match gifted people to their skill set, giving them opportunities to do what they do best. Listen to them and adjust your programing whenever you can to best utilize their gifts.’
I remember one man who did not want to be ‘on air’ but was an excellent communicator, warmth of heart and voice. Bob asked him to do a night time program. He resisted, then accepted the challenge.
Mike Kellogg became the night time voice of Moody radio and blessed many. ‘Give them an opportunity to do what they do best,’ this leader said. Unlikely matches? Look at the disciples Jesus chose.
