Baby Nate
August 15, 2024
We often miss the connection between widows and orphans. Baby Nate, toddling around our project in Kampala, Uganda is a smiling, charming testament to why God connects them in Scripture. Left to die on a construction site, he was given to his widowed grandmother who had no resources to care for him. EXCEPT the opportunity to come to our tailoring training, a mid-day meal, and daily learning a skill, bringing Baby Nate. Baby Nate became a nourished, smiling charmer with 12 doting women to hold and coo with him.
Psalm 82: 3-4 tells us Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy.
Widow Connection provides New Beginnings for orphans. How? By training poor widows in a skill.
