Awe And Perspective

Would you like to right-size your perspective of your life? Take a hike! Walk to a view greater than your everyday views. I hiked a mountain in Norway and was able to look at a tiny trickling stream, and then look down to where it became a powerful narrow river pounding into a fiord.
I climbed Machu Picchu, including the ‘Old Man.’ God seemed so big and my world so small. Jeremiah 6:16 describes that impact. “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.
Hiking abroad and our national parks, one chats with folks we’ve never met.
There’s peace to be found on those different paths, perspective. God created it all. Awesome!
