A Vintage Person’s Strength

While our culture does not value us ‘vintage’ persons, God does. Caleb at 85 ready to go to war to possess tough terrain. As courageous as he was at 40 investigating the promised land. He was still battle ready.
I have a statue in my home of Moses sitting with his tired arms held high. Whose holding up his arms to ensure victory in that battle? Aaron and Hur, his brother, and a young man.
Who is around you, vintage person? Our bodies may tire more quickly. Who holds up your tired arms? Who encourages you through tough days? We gain strength for whatever God’s purpose in our life by wholeheartedly following the Lord. And having a few close to us to uphold us when our strength is weak.
