Whose shoulders do you stand on? Without a pause, I can say, my husband’s. He’s been in Heaven many years. I asked my husband as he neared Heaven what principles he practiced. He listed 7 hardly pausing. His first, I quote: ‘Look for gifted people that share your passion for ministry’ My further thoughts: gifted people can use their gift to stroke their passion. Which might be personal power, or people’s approval, or accumulating power.
His passion was clear: Excellence in Christian broadcasting. Finding like-minded, like-passioned people builds a powerful team. Passion for that ministry, not their self-interest. Using God’s gifts for God, not themselves.
Struggles will come. The key to overcoming them: passion for ministry.
