Amazon Birds

Trekking through the Amazon Rain forest, I was mesmerized by the colors, and features of birds. Macaws brilliant in royal blue, bright red; some with orange. Some were riveting to watch due to their uniqueness and beauty. I remembered the Scripture that tells us that God notices even when a sparrow falls. Brown, small, not a notable bird.
Why did God not say that he notices when a Macaw falls? Maybe because that striking bird demands attention, gets camera clicks, oohs and aahs.
The reality that God notices the unnoteworthy comforts all of us. That describes most of us ordinary people. We are not unnoticed to God, Matthew 10:30. He even numbers the hairs of our heads. We are precious and noticed.
