Resilience – Flexible

Resilient people are flexible. They know God is in control, even if life events seem to be spiraling out of control. Researching the characteristics of flexible people, one is being mindful of others’ thoughts and feelings.
This is certainly one mark of a Christ follower. Others are important. When things are chaotic when we want others to bend to accommodate our mess and help. Flexible people are open to other ways of doing things. They realize it’s not others responsibility to bend to our circumstance. We listen.
Jesus’ new commandment was this, that we love each other as He has loved us. John 13: 34. Why? Verse 35 ‘By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.’ That’s the visible mark of Christ followers.
