Our country, our culture desperately needs the preservative of Jesus’ impact on the lives of those of us who call ourselves followers of Christ. We want every person to taste and see that our Lord is good.
Psalm 34: 8 states, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” They taste and see because we are salt and light. Matthew 5: 13. And they desire what we have. Ruth saw this in Naomi and decided to claim our God as her God.
I ask myself this question. What does salt and light look like. Matthew 5: 16 tells us. “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Good deeds! Compelling evidence for our needy country.
