Visiting a different continent, I met brothers and sisters in Christ I did not know existed. What a tremendous blessing, rich lesson, and revelation in understanding God’s Word!
We are challenged as Christ followers to see dissensions, disagreements, and discord even in our Christian communities. We need to look up, rather than around, and see the unity we can experience when we worship our Lord together.
In this distant country, I sang with brothers and sisters focused on the face of God. We prayed with desperation and expectation greater than our prayers here. In that country, Christians experience greater persecution than in most countries. It is known that one Christian is martyred per day there. The real number may be more. They are looking up. May it be true of us.
