Paul’s Leadership 2

The apostle Paul entered a ship as a voiceless prisoner.  No one listened when he spoke the truth about the ship’s problems ahead.  His word proved true.  Now the centurion guarding him listened as did all the men including the pilot and owner who had ignored him before.  Some sailors attempted to escape on the life boats leaving the rest to die.  Paul spoke again. They needed to all stay on the boat together and they would be saved.

They obeyed.  Now the voiceless prisoner was the listened to leader.  He ordered those who could swim to shore to do so and supervised the rest to cling to planks and pieces of the ship.  This prisoner now spoke boldly.  Not one person was lost.

Truth and trust reveal a true leader.
