Solo Freedom
August 22, 2023
Friends that leave us during and after times of loss can be puzzling. I’m choosing to be thankful for what’s positive in that exodus. Solo Freedom. Solitude is ‘solo freedom.’ Time to read whatever you want, dine on yellow peppers, drink coffee at midnight, and abandon tasks to run out on the porch to watch a storm roll in. I actually am enjoying those things. Solo freedom brings that and more.
I reread Mark 6 taking note that Jesus left his friends and went up on a mountainside to pray. To focus on time with just His Father. Solo.
That void, my friend, is an opportunity to make new choices. To sort out, given your unique God designed person, what brings you joy, how you can delight in Him? Grasp your solo freedom.
