M Are you praying about your financial picture today? Praying over your budget? Pause a moment. Consider this pray first principle. In fact, its the first commandment. Put God first. No other idols before Him.
V In our culture, its easy to want that bigger place to live, cooler, newer car, even specific clothing brands for our teens. That ‘stuff’ idol pushes God back in our priorities. Debt is evidence of that. Scripture says no debt, except in very defined circumstances. Debt says God’s direction is not first. Stuff has climbed into the position meant only for God.
M We’re not saying this is easy. Our culture teaches otherwise. To live within our means is counter cultural.
