M We are learning today the extreme importance of having that 3—6 months reserve to cover our costs if our income disappears or is diminished.
Growing up on a poor farm, for us it meant stocking our cellar with potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, onions and canned everything. We did not go hungry all winter.
V Mom, you show that we can be flexible. Fresh is great, but cellar provisions will do. When our resources have shrunk, as many have recently, we are required to flex.
Auto spending, swiping that credit card are easy and destructive. What will tomorrow look like? We don’t know. The only one who does know the future is God. And He knows us quite well also.
