These disruptive times are opportunities to evaluate ourselves, our families, communities, and country.
One foundation in Scripture is that every person is created in God’s image. Genesis —-Psalm 139: 13-16 Given that reality, we treat each person with respect and care, equally. We are created to work. We thrive being productive. Have our practices and systems promoted being productive? Have we determined what is essential by materialistic values?
Injustice and favoritism deny many open doors of opportunity. God decries this. 130 times in Scripture, God says, be just. Don’t pervert justice. Workers deserve their wages. I Timothy 5: 18.
He can show us how to care biblically, provide fairly, be just to all. Not pervert justice and equality of value. How? By valuing each person as God does.
