Time

It has been said that you can’t turn back the hands of time. True, nor fast forward. Nostalgically we sang, turn backward, time in your flight. Wanting to relive a sweet romantic moment is understandable. Wanting to race through time is impossible: a prison sentence, divorce process, an illness. We are faced with the reality that we are not in control of some of our circumstances, or time.
Jesus states John 16:16 that our perspective on time is relative. His ‘little while’ may be hundreds of years. Time is our tool. Dreaded events? Lean on Him heavily praying for His miracles. But also for our acceptance of whatever happens. After all, we live in this world.
Not heaven–YET.
With that perspective we embrace THIS day.
