M Most college students are prepping for college days, away or commuting from home. Part of preparation is to help them understand the importance of going to class, in person or on line. Val, you gave your sons a vivid picture.
V I took cash from our bank, and spread it on our living room floor. Separately with each child, I ask them to accompany me as I picked up cash equivalent to their tuition cost per classd. We walked over, and I held that cash over the toilet explaining, “When you miss class, this is what happens to money!” No, I did not flush money. They got the idea.
