M Today is a good day to contemplate the greatest gift ever to be given. A teen age girl and her engaged fiancee were in Bethlehem to be counted as was required. Joseph could find no available inn, but one innkeeper was willing to let them stay in a cave like structure where he kept his animals.
V Imagine this young couple trying to sleep knowing that the babe soon to be born would be the Messiah of the world. They knew Scripture, they knew how He would die, and they knew what his death and resurrection would accomplish.
M God was giving His greatest gift. Let’s ponder that, gain perspective on our reality today, and give thanks.
