M Before tackling your money problems, think clearly about what you own and where you want it to go. Scripture is clear that its God’s on loan to us. But any ‘owner’ can have a different opinion.
V The self-directed owner believes she has full authority over her stuff. She may be charitable if she likes. For those who are charitable, the average donation is three percent of income. Churches, hospitals, educational institutions, worthwhile efforts are supported by donations. The biblical view is that charitable giving is not an option. It’s what Christ followers do.
M Giving is a heart thing. Not God saying ‘do it’ so He’ll have to grasp it out of my clenched hand. God never will. We choose.
