Money and transparency

M I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money.
M How much should others know about your finances? Its a delicate question. Scammers want to know and fleece you. But solo on everything means decisions skewed by emotion, even temptations to spend based on greed and impulse.
V Know that all your financial dealings and expenditures are known by God. No secrets there. Full transparency. That motivates us to spend well under God’s direction. Personal accountability shows God He can trust you with more.
Gift giving, to whom and why is important to God. Do we give to earn favor? Give responsibly? To have a trusted friend with who you can be transparent is wise. Biblical principles first, wise and reasonable, transparent before God, vital.
