M Couples marry planning to live together permanently and hopefully happily. About 45 % of first marriages end in divorce as do 60% of second marriages.
V Divorce rates for dedicated Christ followers are lower. Those who practice shared faith and attend services regularly and less likely to divorce. Still its reality is painful. Addressing finances, agreeing to work together is a good first step. Divorce lawyers will create agreements, for a cost. Follow up with taking stock of your assets. Recall whose name is attached to what.
M It’s likely that frugality will be a necessity as will sacrifice. Know that God not only knows every circumstance in your life, cares, and wants to be as close in this season as you’ll allow Him be.
