M Advice for married couples. Go TOGETHER to all meetings with your financial planner and investment advisor. Three way conversation not two way. Both, fully engage, know, understand, and be heard by these advisors.
V Here’s an important statistic. 70 percent of widows leave their advisors after their spouse dies. She has decisions to make alone, without the input of those who might know her finances best. She may be a dual inheritor, parental inheritance as well. Advisors do well to ALWAYS listen to a wife’s perspective before she becomes a widow.
