M Humans are tempted to look to someone else to solve our problems. One source is the government. In our countries infancy, the government did little except protect citizens from other countries invading. Much has changed. Income, protection, utilities, health care, countless agencies and endless lists of ‘rights’ now encourage government dependency.
V Scripture says otherwise. Philippians 4: 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Note, Scripture says needs not wants. Jews under Roman rule wanted Jesus to over throw the government for their benefit. Jesus had a different mission. To satisfy the need of their heart. For them to look to God for provision through His means.
