I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M Becoming a widow opened my eyes to the financial dilemma of women dealing with money on their own. While some women are OK financially, many are not. Some are in poverty.
80% of widows in poverty were not poor before their husbands died.
V We see two common problems. Couples have not adequately prepared. In 8 out of 10 marriages, women will survive their husbands. Planning is not optional. Its required in a loving marriage. I Timothy 5: 8 Provide for our families. Another problem is that women are not equipped and informed about managing money and living on what they have.
