Decision free zone

M  I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M Hasty decisions are rarely wise ones.  King David’s impulses almost resulted in his killing of Nabal’s household, blood on an anointed king’s  hands.  Taking Uriah’s wife: another impulsive sinful act.

V  Money is an emotion prompter.  Extra unexpected funds?  Splurge.  Great loss?  Get depressed and accumulate debt.  Scripture is full of wisdom and guidelines on money management as well as care and management of stuff.  With any big change in financial status, declare a decision free zone.  A time to reflect, seek wise council, learn, and pray.  That’s God’s way to prevent impulsive decisions.  Let excitement, sadness, even anger shrink before acting.

M During that decision free zone, listen and learn.
