Kenya visit
May 31, 2018
Remembering my recent visit to Kissi Kenya, the faces of our widow graduates are before me. Marginalized in their village, without income and resources, our tailor training program gives them an open door to a new life. After 7 months of classes, they can make and sell school uniforms, African clothing, mend, use their skill in any way that works in their village.
They now own their own machine. Their future is in their own hands. Why this opportunity? Because God has shown me, this widow, His great love for me. The special place all widows have in his heart. So I go. Implement the program, raise funds, tell them of God’s love. I remember their faces. More importantly, God not only sees their face, He knows their name.
