Suicide

Did you know that after recent hurricanes in Puerto Rico, the incidence of suicide increased? Any suicide is a tragedy. Deciding that life is not worth living–an extreme statement on harsh realities of living on this planet.
Certainly life is harsh on this tiny island after challenges of hurricanes, poverty, and the slow pace of improved conditions. Yet they are people who can reach to God. I admire radio station Rock Radio lead by Janet Luttrell that continues to broadcast hope and reach people in their dark moments. Stay connected with others through your time of hardship. Prosperity is not promised, but God’s real comfort is. Connecting with others, not taking small blessings for granted, these are reasons for hope. Life worth living.
