Rejected phrases damaged goods

Damaged goods, a phrase we apply to beat up furniture, delivered broken orders, and even people.  I’ve seen chipped furniture repaired, looking restored, brokenness replaced, and people who have gone through the worst of the worst, restored, refined and glowing with the beauty of God’s love.

What person are you seeing as damaged goods.  Did they make wrong choices, mess up?  Were they the victim of another’s evil?

God sees them differently.  A person He gave the breath of life.  And if they have not embraced Him yet, they might.  If they have, why do we see them differently than God does?  All of us are born in sin.  None of us perfect.  God is the ultimate restorer.  We are delightful, precious goods.
