Finding the new you

Days between Christmas and New Years are filled with list making.  Goals.  Exercise, spiritual growth, saving, grades, weight, de-cluttering,  long, optimistic lists.  Its hard  in times of change.  In my  book, One Widow to Another, Conversations About the New You,  I talk about practical tools to help you.  God sometimes builds on our past skills, but not always.

Sheepherder David moved from being skilled with a slingshot to being competent with a large sword.  One young widow grew from email and word processing to her own online marketing business.  Another returned to nursing school.

While my tools are practical, the real power to change comes from our Creator, who knew from day one what we would face, and places within us all we need for our new day.
