M Christmas can be an opportunity to be picky, sensitive and lose the joy and wonder of the day

I remember my mother baking me a rhubarb pie when I returned from college for Christmas break.  I was annoyed.  I NEVER liked rhubarb!  I said nothing, but had a bad attitude for a bit. Now I give thanks remembering that she baked a pie for me.

V  Is fatigue crowding out gratitude?  When we’re tired, its easy to be negative.  Have I packed my schedule with the good and better, so there’s no room for the best? God gave us His best gift ever, His son.
