Helping children

I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M I wish my generation got it all right in training our children in financial accountability. We tried. One area of failure was in demonstrating that debt was OK. We see a whole generation in the fallout of exactly that kind of behavior, children and parents now buried in student’s loans, consumer debt, and with little or no ability to budget or reign in expenses.
V There are times to help children, and one of those is when they are demonstrating personal responsibility and positive motion in their life. Matching their efforts in savings or debt payment encouragements them to work harder.
