Why Donate?
Because of my experiences since my husband of 41 years went to heaven, I have begun a new ministry titled Widow Connection, Inc. This not-for-profit company will be devoted to meeting the needs of widows.
Why did I begin such a ministry?
Simply stated the resource I am creating is one I searched for as a new widow and could not find.
My primary goal was to create and maintain a website to inform and encourage in the following areas: finances, family, friendships, health, and emotions such as grief, loneliness, and anger. Encouragement and information is practical in nature and biblically based.
Widowconnection.com now exists with information and links to appropriate sites to supplement the needs of widows.
The website is technically sound and secure with high interest and quality. A future goal is to have interactive features.
Our secondary need is to raise awareness regarding who we are including our needs especially among believers, and biblical instruction regarding us. In order to get the word out that Widowconnection.com exists, I have piloted a one minute daily media feature called New Beginnings. The content is of interest to all who experience changes. Amazingly over 1000 outlets are now airing this feature coast to coast.
Widow Connection is also reaching overseas to help widows in Africa and Albania. There are great opportunities to live the truth of James 1:27.
Ongoing needs are to sustain this website with its accompanying costs and ministries until such time as it may be self sustaining. Expanding New Beginnings would bring more awareness of this important topic. We will continue to help widows internationally as resources are available.
I am committed to a debt-free, loan-free ministry. Should you wish to be a part of this fledgling beginning, I would be grateful for your prayers and financial help. Your donation is tax deductible as Widow Connection is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Expanded Projects
We’re growing! Having completed 9 projects, we’ve learned a lot! While our first small projects were a beginning, one project trained 24 widows. Yes, training time was longer and we employed two trainers. Each graduate received a present of their own machine, plus a gift of sewing supplies created by donations of goods to us, lovingly packed by volunteers. It was our great pleasure to present these and certificates to each graduate. $9,000.00 was the cost for this project.
Widow Connection is blessed that we can sponsor small projects to meet needs in a village, or larger ones. While being a new organization has challenges, we are blessed with flexibility to serve where others may not. This is all possible because of your generosity.
Yes, we’ve expanded to Albania. Blood feud, conflict, and economic distress means widows and abandoned women need our help. Projects are more costly there, but you continue to make these projects possible.
