Worst treatment

Have you been dissed lately?  Maybe even by one you counted your friend?  Pause, breathe deeply and consider these words.  Black author, Richard Wright stated, “The worst I’ve ever been treated was when I was told the truth.”  Proverbs 27: 6. ‘’Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.”

Yes, we are admonished to speak truth in love, not with venom.  We need to receive truth as a blessing.  Every human heart leans to evil.  Consider words, even painful ones with and open Bible, praying that God use those for His glory.  Truth shines light, purifies, and holds us accountable.  Hard to hear, necessary if we want our heart to be filled with goodness.
