Upheld Hands

Are you trying to be a solo Christ follower? I have a statue in my home that reminds me daily that victorious living is not achieved alone. This statue is of Moses sitting weary on a stone with Aaron and Hur holding up his hands. As long as Moses held up his hands, Joshua and his warriors were winning against the Amalekites. When he could no longer hold up his hands, with Aaron on one side and Hur on the other, upholding his hands, the battle was won.
My husband asked his co workers to name the statue. They chose Upheld by man, victorious through God.
My friend, your upheld hands will become weary. You need others in your time of weakness. God will provide the victory.
