M One of life’s big transition stages is retirement. Looking forward to a change, at least a downshift of the furious work pace.
V In deciding whether you can retire, there are several factors to consider. If social security is a part of the plan, you can get a full report from the Social Security Administration estimating what your monthly income will be. Next consider any other income, a pension, part time work? Then consider your savings and investments. Will that money last? Can it keep up with an approximate 3% average increase in cost of living every year?
