Media baffled # 2

Ben Carson’s prayer in a Cabinet meeting baffled media? Why? Obviously such prayers have been uncommon in the past, either non existent or different in content. Lets look at the prayer of Secretary of HUD, Carson.
“We hope that that unity will spread even beyond party lines so that people recognize that we have a nation that is worth saving and recognize that nations divided against themselves cannot stand,” the HUD secretary prayed.
The phrase ‘divided against themselves’ is biblical. Mark 3: 25. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
Abraham Lincoln, a man of faith referred to that during our Civil War.
Praying for what God wants is a prayer He can answer. I trust that is so for the sake or our country.
