The leader of a billion dollar company was encouraged by these words. May you have a kind heart, a fierce mind, and a brave heart. These words certainly apply to us as Christ followers in our world today.
Distention and disrespect abound in all levels of our culture. Clear thinking and common sense appear to be uncommon. And a brave heart? Rare. II Timothy 1: 7 reminds us that God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
Kind heart based on His love for us.
Fierce mind based on self-discipline and reliance on His word.
Brave Heart based on His spirit of power within us.
Living just that transforms us first and then our influence in our culture.
