Are you looking forward to Christmas? Expectations and joy mixed with concern and questions? Let’s tackle what’s important. Preparing for Jesus birth is a time to decide to accept him as he is, and for who he is. God’s son. Powerful at his right hand today. Human, tender and humble, no respecter of persons. Embracing just those two facts changes our anticipation of Christmas. He has earned our obedience through his gift of life. earned for us on the cross. We can speak the truth in love. He would.
Serving others with a heart desiring Him to get glory, rather than obligation or others expectation, simply accepting Jesus for who he is, trying to be like him pushes aside concerns. We are free to enjoy the season.
