Credit card fraud

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M I recently had a rude awakening opening my credit card bill.  NINE identical charges on one day to an unknown business.  Calling the number, they were ‘closed’ that day.  Quick call to my son, getting good advice.  He recognized the fraud and advised that I called the credit card company.

V Scams on credit cards are common.  Report that fraudulent charge immediately.  You discovered in the days after that period, the identical amount NINE times, but a different company.  That credit card number is closed, and you need not pay those charges.

M There are many good places for our money to go.  Fraudsters are not one of them.
