Carrying burdens

What problems do you keep to yourself?  Which ones do you share?   I puzzled over this reading Galatians 6.  Paul tells us to “carry each others burdens,’ and ‘carry your own load.”  Contradictory?  Not really.

Burden means a load so heavy its team sized.

Load mean’s something like a soldier’s back pack that can’t be shared.

Our challenge is to determine the difference.  Alcoholics Anonymous is a team  that helps individuals with their burden of addiction.

Some load sized problems we must carry alone.  Sharing them would damage others.  Or interfere with us developing a tenacious dependence on God, and God alone.

Take comfort from the reality that whatever the burden or load, its not unique to us.  Others have overcome it, because God takes on both.
