M Scripture speaks to dependence on others for financial support. I Thessalonians 4: 11, 12. You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, 12 so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.
V Challenges to that come not only in the job market, but cost of living has outpaced wage growth for several years now. Our economy and jobs market is shifting with many jobs going overseas or being replaced with technology. As we adjust, dependency in the short term can be a result.
M We know during tough times independence is impossible. Keep it short. Its our witness.
