Black History Month
February 12, 2018
February is designated Black History Month. It’s a good time to remember Martin Luther King Junior, a champion of non violent demonstrations for equality for people of color. 63 African American inventors are listed at Famous Black Inventors.
What will be recorded for Black History for February 2018 in our country? In my state, Illinois? A dark period. Christians embrace that we all originated from Adam and Eve. Each is given life by God, forgiven by Jesus His son, equal at the foot of the cross. A united choir in heaven.
Does my life reflect that? Would that these truths were embraced in our legal system, policing units, churches, business, whether real estate or health care. You and I can embrace these truths whether our culture does or not.
